Urinary Potassium (Spot) is a urine test used to measure the concentration of potassium in a single (random) urine sample. It helps evaluate renal potassium excretion and is useful in differentiating renal from non-renal causes of hypokalemia or hyperkalemia. This test is often interpreted alongside serum potassium and urinary creatinine to assess electrolyte balance and kidney function.
