Description

Uric Acid Crystals are microscopic crystalline structures detected during urine sediment examination. They typically form in acidic urine and may appear in various shapes such as rhomboid plates, rosettes, or needle-like crystals. While small amounts can be normal, increased uric acid crystals may indicate hyperuricemia, gout, dehydration, or risk of uric acid kidney stones. This parameter is evaluated as part of Routine Urine Examination (R/E).
