Pre-Test Instructions:

Collect stool in a clean, dry, sterile container.
Avoid contamination with urine, water, or toilet paper.
Notify the lab if the patient is on antibiotics or antiparasitic medication.
Multiple stool samples over 2–3 days may increase detection sensitivity.
Do not send formed stool if watery/loose stool is clinically indicated for testing.
