Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) is a calculated inflammatory marker derived from the absolute neutrophil count and absolute lymphocyte count obtained from a Complete Blood Count (CBC). NLR is widely used as a simple, cost-effective indicator of systemic inflammation, infection severity, cardiovascular risk, autoimmune disorders, and certain malignancies. Elevated NLR values are associated with acute stress, inflammatory conditions, and poor prognosis in various diseases.
