Description

Legionella pneumophila Urinary Antigen is a rapid diagnostic test used to detect Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 antigen in urine. It enables early diagnosis of Legionnaires’ disease, a severe form of atypical pneumonia, allowing prompt initiation of appropriate antibiotic therapy. The test is non-invasive, fast, and especially useful in hospitalized patients with severe community-acquired pneumonia.
