Kidney Function Test (KFT), also known as Renal Function Test (RFT), is a comprehensive blood test panel used to evaluate how efficiently the kidneys are filtering waste products and maintaining electrolyte and fluid balance in the body. This profile measures key parameters such as Urea, Creatinine, Uric Acid, Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Calcium, Phosphorus, and calculates eGFR to assess kidney filtration capacity. KFT is essential for diagnosing kidney diseases, monitoring chronic kidney disease (CKD), dehydration status, electrolyte imbalance, hypertension-related renal damage, and drug toxicity. It is widely recommended for patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, urinary disorders, and those on long-term medications affecting renal function.

Not recommended from IV line arm
