Hippuric Acid Crystals are rare urinary crystals detected during urine sediment microscopy. They are typically found in acidic urine and appear as elongated needle-like or prism-shaped crystals. Although uncommon in routine urinalysis, their presence may be associated with high intake of certain fruits, metabolic variations, or rarely occupational exposure to toluene. Hippuric acid crystals are usually not clinically significant unless seen in large quantities or with relevant clinical history.
