Helicobacter pylori IgA Antibodies is a blood test used to detect IgA antibodies against Helicobacter pylori, a bacterium associated with gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, and gastric cancer. The presence of IgA antibodies suggests mucosal immune response and may indicate active or recent infection. This test is used in the evaluation of chronic dyspepsia and suspected H. pylori–related gastric disorders.
