Pre-Test Instructions:

Fasting for 8–12 hours prior to the test is mandatory.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during the test.
Drink the prescribed glucose solution within 5 minutes.
Remain seated and avoid physical activity during the test period.
Inform the lab if taking medications affecting glucose metabolism (insulin, oral hypoglycemics, steroids).
