GGT (Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase) (BC0072)

Description

GGT (Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase) is a blood test used to measure the level of gamma-glutamyl transferase, an enzyme primarily found in the liver and bile ducts. It is commonly used to evaluate liver function, detect bile duct obstruction, and assess alcohol-related liver disease. GGT is often measured alongside other liver enzymes such as ALT, AST, and ALP to help determine the cause of liver dysfunction.
