Description

Eosinophils (%) is a blood test parameter that measures the percentage of eosinophils among total white blood cells. Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell involved in allergic reactions, parasitic infections, and certain inflammatory or autoimmune conditions. This test is commonly performed as part of a Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential and helps evaluate causes of eosinophilia such as asthma, allergies, drug reactions, and parasitic infestations.
