Pre-Test Instructions:

  • Collect all urine over a 24-hour period, starting after discarding the first morning urine and including the next day’s first morning urine.
  • Store the collection container in the refrigerator (2–8°C) during collection.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive protein intake during the collection period.
  • Provide a blood sample preferably at the end of the 24-hour urine collection.
  • Inform your doctor about medications such as cimetidine, trimethoprim, or diuretics, which may affect results.
