Clotting Time (CT) is a basic bedside coagulation screening test that measures the time required for whole blood to clot. It mainly reflects the intrinsic pathway of the coagulation cascade and is used as a quick, low-resource assessment of bleeding tendency.
Clotting Time (CT) is a manual whole blood test by capillary or Lee–White method to assess intrinsic coagulation and basic bleeding tendency. Though largely replaced by PT and APTT, it remains useful as a quick bedside screening tool in low-resource settings and for preliminary coagulation assessment.
