GDH + Toxin A/B is a two-step stool immunoassay to detect glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) antigen and toxins A & B of Clostridioides difficile. It helps diagnose antibiotic-associated diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis rapidly and accurately.

Clostridium difficile GDH + Toxin A/B stool test uses immunoassay to detect GDH antigen and toxins for rapid diagnosis of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis. The two-step algorithm distinguishes colonization from active toxigenic infection and guides confirmation by PCR when results are discordant.
