Description

Cholesterol Crystals are large, flat, transparent, rectangular plates with characteristic notched corners observed during urine sediment microscopy. Their presence is commonly associated with nephrotic syndrome and heavy proteinuria. Cholesterol crystals may indicate significant renal pathology and are typically found in lipid-rich urine sediment.
