Description

Chyle test in CAPD fluid detects chylous contamination of peritoneal dialysate due to lymphatic leakage. Chyle is triglyceride-rich, giving the fluid a milky appearance. This test helps identify chylous ascites, catheter/lymphatic injury, infection, malignancy, or postoperative complications in CAPD patients.
