Calcium Oxalate Crystals are microscopic crystals detected during urine sediment examination. They are commonly found in normal urine but may also be associated with kidney stone formation (urolithiasis), dehydration, or metabolic disorders. These crystals typically appear as envelope-shaped (octahedral) or dumbbell-shaped structures under microscopy. Persistent or increased presence may indicate risk of calcium oxalate kidney stones and requires clinical correlation.
