Calcium Carbonate Crystal (CP0040)

Description

Calcium Carbonate Crystals are microscopic crystals occasionally observed during urine sediment examination. They typically appear as small, colorless, spherical or dumbbell-shaped structures and are more commonly found in alkaline urine. While they may be present in normal urine, increased numbers can be associated with dietary factors, alkaline urinary pH, or metabolic imbalance. Clinical correlation is recommended when detected in significant amounts.
