Pre-Test Instructions:

Fasting is mandatory — minimum 8 to 10 hours.
Only water is allowed during fasting.
Do not take insulin or oral hypoglycemic medications before sample collection (unless advised by your doctor).
Avoid strenuous exercise 24 hours prior to the test.
Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, as it may affect C-peptide levels.
