Description

Biopsy: H&E Slide for Review (More Than 2 Slides / Paraffin Blocks) is a histopathology consultation service in which previously prepared hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stained slides and/or more than two paraffin-embedded tissue blocks are reviewed by an experienced pathologist. The review helps confirm or refine an existing diagnosis, resolve difficult or complex cases, and provide an expert second opinion. Additional special stains or immunohistochemistry (IHC) may be recommended if further evaluation is necessary.
