Bacteria stool (CP0083)

Description

Bacteria in stool are evaluated during microscopic examination as part of routine stool analysis. While normal intestinal flora are present in healthy individuals, excessive bacteria or specific pathogenic organisms may indicate gastrointestinal infection. Detection of abnormal bacterial presence, especially when associated with pus cells, mucus, or blood, suggests bacterial gastroenteritis or dysentery and may require stool culture for confirmation.
