Description

Anti–Double Stranded DNA (dsDNA) Antibody is a blood test used to detect autoantibodies directed against native double-stranded DNA. It is a highly specific marker for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and is used for diagnosis, assessment of disease activity, and monitoring response to therapy. Elevated anti-dsDNA levels often correlate with disease flares, particularly lupus nephritis, and are interpreted alongside clinical findings and other autoimmune markers.
