Pre-Test Instructions:

Urine Sample: Collect midstream clean-catch urine in a sterile container; avoid contamination from skin or genital area.
Pus/Wound Sample: Collected aseptically by clinician; avoid applying antibiotics or antiseptics before collection.
Sputum Sample: Collect early morning deep cough specimen before eating or brushing teeth.
Blood Sample: Should be collected before starting antibiotic therapy.
Inform the doctor/lab if you are already taking antibiotics, as this can affect results.
